Shopping at Tread Light Gifts

How do I place an order?
Shopping at Tread Light Gifts is easy. As you are browsing through our online shop, click the Add To Shopping Cart button located underneath each item to add item items to your cart. Once you are ready to checkout, simply click the Checkout button located at the top of web page and follow the online instructions to complete the order.

What form of payment do you accept?
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover. You can be assured that your data is processed securely through our SSL (Secured Socket Layer.)

Do I have to pay Sales Tax?
Tread Light Gifts is only required to collect taxes from orders being shipped to locations within Washington State.

I have a discount or promotion code. How do I enter it to receive the discount?
If you have a discount code or coupon, you will be able to enter that code during the checkout process.

  • If you are a returning customer, you will be prompted for the promotion code on the first page of the check out process. You will check the "I am a returning customer and would like to use my existing account "button, enter you name, email address, and promo code, then click Continue Checkout.
  • If you are a new customer, you will be prompted for the promo code after you fill in the registration information. To register during checkout, click on check out button located at the top right of any page of the web store. Click the "I am a new customer and I would like to sign up and create an account" button, then click Continue Checkout. You will be taken to the registration form. The promotion or discount code can be entered in the last box of the form.

How do I change or cancel an order?
You are able to cancel an order if it has not yet been shipped. If you wish to cancel an order, please contact Customer Care at customercare@treadlightgifts.com or 1-888-838-9788. To speed up your cancellation, please include your name, email address, daytime phone number, and order confirmation number?

Shipping

Most orders ship within 2 business days(excluding holiday season).  We ship via FedEx or United States Postal Service (USPS). Your delivery charge will be calculated during check out. From the time your order is shipped it generally takes 3-7 business days for ground delivery. No weekend or holiday delivery is available. At this time, Tread Light Gifts does not ship to addresses outside of the U.S. and Canada. We also do not ship to APO/FPO addresses.

We aim to ship most products purchased by noon on Mondays-Fridays within 48 hours from our Seattle facility. Exceptions occur in the event that we are suddenly out of stock of a particular item.

During the very busy holiday season, please allow approximately:

  • 5-7 business days to the East Coast
  • 3-5 business days to the Mid West
  • 1-3 business days to the West Coast

    INCORRECT RECIPIENT ADDRESS: Please make certain that addresses given are complete and correct--that includes apartment, condo, or suite number if applicable. If there is a mistake or omission in shipping information provided, there may be an additional fee that will be charged to the customer. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, you will be contacted and an additional $10 handling fee will be charged to your account to re-process the order.

    Returns and Exchanges

    What is your return policy?

    We appreciate your business and want you and your friends, family, and colleagues to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you wish to make a return or exchange, we will be happy to help you.

    • All returned items must be in new, unused and re-sellable condition and received by us within 14 days of the date of purchase.
    • Please include a copy of your Packing List, indicate the reason for the return and what adjustment you desire, refund or a replacement.
    • Sale items are final and non-refundable.
    • A credit will be issued to the buyers credit card upon receipt and inspection of the item.
    • Items received as gifts can be returned for store credit.
    • A refund on shipping is credited only when an item arrives defective or damaged.
    • We regret that opened food and personal care items cannot be returned.
